How to Install Clip-In Extensions (8 Weft Set)
What you’ll need:
- Zulfay clip-in extensions (8 wefts)
- Rat-tail comb or sectioning clip
- Mirror
Step 1 – Prepare your hair
Brush your hair thoroughly to remove tangles. This ensures clips hold securely and hair blends naturally.
Step 2 – First section (3-clip weft)
- Using the rat-tail comb, create a horizontal part just above your mid-ear level.
- Clip the rest of your hair out of the way.
- Take a 3-clip weft and secure it along the part. Start by closing the middle clip first, then side clips for a snug fit.
Step 3 – Second section (3-clip weft)
- Move about one inch above the first weft and make another horizontal section.
- Clip in the second 3-clip weft the same way as before.
Step 4 – Third section (4-clip weft)
- Part hair just below the crown area.
- Clip in the 4-clip weft, starting from the middle and working outwards to the sides. This piece adds the most volume and length.
Step 5 – Fourth section (2-clip weft)
- Part hair at the crown level.
- Clip in 2 clip weft just above the 4 clips weft.
Step 6 – Side sections (2-clip weft)
- On one side of your head, part hair just above the ear.
- Clip in the 2-clip weft close to the roots.
- Repeat on the other side if your set includes another 2-clip weft.
Step 7 – Face-framing pieces (1-clip wefts)
- Place each 1-clip weft near the front, about an inch back from your hairline.
- These help blend the extensions seamlessly with your natural layers.
Step 8 – Blend & style
Release all sections, gently comb through to blend your natural hair with the extensions, and style as desired.

Always clip close to the roots and make sure the weft lies flat for a natural look. For extra hold, lightly tease the section before clipping.
